The Research of Pediatric Services in Ukraine
The first chapter of the research contains the strategic analysis of the pediatric sector – the needs of children of different age and the main features of the medical services for children, the main market participants, their clients and values, proposed to the clients.
We performed in convenient way the Ukrainian children health care status that is necessary to take into account while developing medical company, the main reasons of the morbidity in dynamics and in absolute numbers, the reasons of the children disability. Data of the representative research of the Ukrainian households were analyzed as to the estimation of children health in different age groups of 0-3, 3-6, 7-13.
The research covers the potential of the 8 largest cities of Ukraine (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Zaporizhya, Odesa, Mykolajiv), the structure of the pediatric aid in the city, the list of the private clinics in each city, the rating of the cities’ attractiveness is proposed for those, who aim to open private pediatric clinic. The analysis of the annual programs for children (services, prices), the differences and value propositions of the private clinics were performed in the research also.
Based on the data we had collected, the main trends of the work for the pediatric clinics were worked out.They will create the competitive advantages for the clinic at market.
Content analysis of the Internet forums for parents, which deals with the most popular private clinics of Ukraine, will be rather useful for the private clinics. We collected the responses on weak and strong sides of the medical services in definite medical clinic and performed analytical conclusions based on the information from forums.
The research contains market experts’ opinions concerning the development and trends of the pediatric services market.
